thrifting.

I went to Goodwill today for the first time in years!!!! I'm so glad that I found some goodies on my trip. I probably spent a good hour in there searching through everything. I went through the jackets, sweaters, blouses, men shirts, shoes, bags, hats and decorative items. I ended up finding some good stuff in the sweates, men shirts, bags, and hats area. And I'm so happy!!! Let's begin the haul!

Orange Sweater 3.25 I know it's summer but I love sweaters!!!!! I can never have enough sweaters and it's never too early to buy fall clothes. I've been trying to go out of my comfort zone and get brighter clothing and this orange sweater is out of my comfort zone. It's soft and cozy. And it's like a half turtle neck. It only has one tag that says the color and size so I don't know the brand of it. But I'm excited to wear it!!!

Brown Sweater 6.49 Like I already said, I love sweaters. You can never have enough sweaters, I am prepared for the fall. This sweater is a boring kobicha brown and it has a little zipper on the back of the collar which made it a little difficult to put on. It is also a half turtle neck. The tag says that it is "Sarah Bentley". I googled it and it only showed me used clothing that looked like it is for older ladies. But I still love it.. I can't wait to wear it!!!!!

Gray Eddie Bauer Sweatshirt 5.99 I've been wanting a big sweatshirt for forever and this sweatshirt was exactly what I was looking for. BIG AND COMFY AND GRAY. I think I found it in the athletic clothing. The tag says that it is for men. I don't follow gender roles. The front says "Eddie Bauer ® Genuine Authentic Quality Outdoor 1920 Outfitter" and the tag says "Eddie Bauer". I googled it and it looks like they are still in business, have a website store (AND BLOG) and have actual physical stores. It is an athletic clothing brand. I don't do sports but I'm still happy that I got this sweater to lounge around in!!!!!!!

Yellow Men's Woodloch Shirt 1.99 I got this shirt because it's yellow. I'm trying to get out of my regular darks and venture into the brights. It's also a little tighter than I like but it's okay. The sleeves are a little too wide but I still find the shirt cute. The tag says "MV Sport" and The front of the shirt says "Woodloch Est. 1958". I googled it and I think MV Sport is a website where you can custom make your apparel. According to my investigative skills, Woodloch is a resort in Pennsylvania. What is a Pennsylvanian resort shirt doing in California? I don't know. But I'm glad it's here because I am so happy to wear it!!!!!!

Red Bella Luce Hat 2.99 I've been wanting to buy more hats for my two hat collection but they're so expensive!! So I thoroughly searched Goodwill's hat selection and I found this gem. It's bright red!!! Out of my comfort zone!!!! I tried to google the words the hat has which are "Bella Luce" on the front and "Knight and Day" on the back, before I bought it just in case it wasn't some really strange thing. Because sometimes hats are made with really strange imprints on them. I couldn't find anything relating to the words on the hat so I got it. But let me google it again.... After an extensive amount of research all that I could find were Bella Luce rings and Knight and Day starring Cameron Diaz. The tag says "Flexfit" which I found to be a custom headwear vendor. So the hat will remain a mystery. I'm still excited to wear the mystery hat though!!!!

Brown Handbag 5.99 Last but not least, I got this beautiful tan handbag. It has some kind of emblem shield stamped on the front and it is a cross body bag. I've been wanting a brown bag for a while because I literally only have a black one which I wear with everything. The bag isn't like a normal purse though, its more of a "big wallet" because it has SO many card pockets. The purse also unzips to be completely open and can lay flat. It also has a little mirror and two zipper pockets. The tag says "Roger Gimbel Accesories". I googled it and could only find used accessories being sold. I like it and will for sure use it next time I go out!!!!! So in the end, I didn't find any "big brands" but it's okay. I still feel very lucky to have found what I did and for the price that I did. I'm for sure going to go back and do some more searching in the future. And maybe next time I'll go to a different thrift store.
