What's in my Play! by Sephora box!

I received my first Play! by Sephora box for the month of July!!!!

The box brings a pamphlet with information on all the products and a 50 extra Beauty Insider points card that you can redeem at a Sephora when you make a purchase. The pamphlet says "Beauty Staycation" so I'm guessing that it's the theme for the month of July. It brought the products inside a pull string bag that says "Glamp Out!"

I've only trusted one mascara for the longest time but recently it's been doing me dirty so I want to venture out and find others that are going to work for me. So I liked receiving this mascara sample. When I put it on, the only difference I noticed was that it made my lashes darker. It didn't necessarily volumize my lashes. And I would prefer a mascara that made my lashes fuller too which this product does not do. I don't hate it though, I just wouldn't buy the full size. 

Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment

I love masks. I love being able to purify my huge pores. I was so excited to try this mask but when I did, I was very disappointed. First of all, it has such a strong awful smell. And then after putting it on, it immediately started to burn my upper lip. The mask itself feels very soft on the face and it seems like it can work. I didn't notice any big immediate results so I will continue to use it once a week. I hope I don't wake up with a breakout tomorrow because of this mask though. I wouldn't purchase the full size of this mask either. It has great reviews on the Sephora website so maybe it could work for someone else.

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray

"Ultra-light leave-in conditioning spray delivers non-greasy moisture without weighing down hair."

I don't really use hair products so I have nothing to compare this to. I don't feel like it did anything to my hair after putting it on, I just feel a thin coat of product in my hair. It didn't weigh down my hair. I will continue to try it out and see if it does actually repair. It does smell good though. I would buy the full product if I were more into hair care but I'm just not.

bareMinerals GEN NUDE Matte Liquid Lipstick in Swag

I love lipsticks!!! So I was very excited to try this out! It is mauve and I have other mauve lipsticks so the color didn't really make me happy but it's okay. The lipstick itself smells good and it feels light. It is also a light mauve and I feel like light lipsticks don't look good on me right now because of the tan I have going on. The lipstick lasted through a nap and a meal, a bit rubbed off on my drink but it's okay with me. I would purchase a full size of this lipstick but in a different color. 

Milk Makeup Cooling Water

"Hydrating gel stick refreshes and soothes skin for a quick boost of moisture when you're on the go."

I honestly don't know what this is used for. It said to put it under your makeup but it's not branded as a primer so I'm not sure...... The Sephora website says it is to depuff eyes and to hydrate skin. When I put it on, it felt a bit sticky but not very heavy. I rubbed it in because I didn't want it to just sit on top of my skin and it did feel refreshing. The smell of it is refreshing too. I wouldn't purchase a full size because I don't see why I would use it but this could be good for anyone with puffy eyes. 

Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine 

"Inspired by the scent of a relaxed summer morning, this crisp blend of sweet blood orange and butter orange peel is complemented by notes of geranium."

The first thing I noticed is that it smells like an orange Jamba Juice drink. I'm not completely sure if it's like "actual cologne" for men but I will still use it because I don't follow gender stereotypes. I wouldn't purchase this scent myself or for others, I prefer fresh floral scents  but I might as well try it since I have it.

I really liked my first Play! by Sephora box. I'm actually going to use all the products I received which makes me happy, I got my money's worth. I love being able to try all these brands that I wouldn't purchase myself.
