back to school haul.

It's back to school season! I'm not starting school until the end of August but I love going school supply shopping! It's my first year of college and I don't know what I'm going to need so I just got the same basic stuff I get every year. 

I got most of these items at Walmart, so it's all very affordable. I don't have the receipt and the prices online are different than in stores so I'm going to guess/estimate the prices, lol. There is also no aesthetic or theme within my supplies, sadly. 

Five Star 4 Pocket Folder

This folder was probably like a dollar or two. I've literally gotten the same exact folder for the past two years so this is my third year with it. I love the color black because it's very simple. Folders should be simple. The folders life length depends on how you take care of it. The first year I got it, it lasted a semester so I had to get a new one for second semester. But last year, the folder lasted me all year. It was ripped very badly but it still did its job so I saw no reason as to why I should've gotten a new one. I really trust this folder!

1 Subject Notebook

These notebooks were probably like 50 or 60 cents each. They are college ruled. I CAN ONLY USE COLLEGE RULED. I HATE WIDE RULED. I feel like I write neater with college ruled. I got a black and a purple notebook because they are my favorite colors. I don't know if I'll need more notebooks but I didn't want to over buy just in case I won't use them. I can always go and buy more if I need more. But I think two is enough for now. 

Bic Mechanical Pencils

This pack of 24 led pencils was probably like 6 dollars. I prefer led pencils over regular wooden pencils. I noticed that it's .5 mm led when I got home... I prefer .7 mm. But it's okay. I'm just scared that I'll be constantly breaking the led but it's alright. I trust Bic led pencils, they're fairly priced for how long they last. 

Paper Mate Gel Pens

My sister got a 12 pack of Paper Mate gel pens and I asked her if she would give me two and she did! I like the blue green color and again, purple is my favorite color. I'm probably only going to use these for my planner.

Green School Calender 

I got this calendar at Dollar Tree. It's very simple but I like it, it was only a dollar. I need something to write down my schedule in because I'm going to have different classes everyday and it's going to take a while for me to remember my schedule. 

Pen + Gear Dry Erase Markers

The calender I got has a plastic cover that you can write on with dry erase markers so I got some! The expo markers at Walmart were like 5 dollars for a two pack but I found this pack for 94 cents!!!! It's not about the brand, it's about the quality. 

Plan Ahead Coloring Planner

I found the cutest planner!!!!!! I would've gotten a Dollar Tree planner but I wanted to splurge a little more for a cuter one. This planner was $10 and I think it's fairly priced. I'm so excited to use it!!! Each page has coloring pages and I love coloring! I feel like it's going to be a little stress reliever for me or some entertainment when I'm bored. 

Pen + Gear Sketch Diary

I've been looking for a sketch book for the longest time. Most of the sketch books I've seen have plain simple covers and I think that a sketch book should have some colors and/ or pictures on the cover!! I found this sketch book for like $2. It has a clear cover so I can make my own colorful and beautiful cover! I might not necessarily need it for school but I love to sketch out my designs before actually making them on the computer so I might use it for my multimedia class. 

Cra-Z-Art Colored Pencils

I had colored pencils but I gave them to my niece so I needed some new ones because I love to color and I need something to color my planner with! These were only 50 cents!!! I remember when I was younger I had Cra-Z-Art crayons and I was made fun of at school because of the names of the crayons and because they weren't Crayolas.

I don't need much for school. I don't like being extra with binders or pencil pouches. I'm also not buying a new backpack because I'm going to use the same one I used last year which is a gray Jansport. And I'm going to buy loose paper for my folder, I forgot to get some while I was at the store for some reason.
