Play! by Sephora August 2017

I received my August bag!!!

This is not going to be a review, it's going to be a "what's in my bag" type of post and my initial thoughts on the products.

The theme this month is "The Innovators Elements of Beauty". The theme pamphlet shows the "elements" that go into beauty products, the design is cute. 

beautyblender micro.mini

"Revolutionary mini makeup applicator sponge for highlighting, contouring, and concealing. Perfectly shaped to reach the smallest parts of your face."

The first thing in my bag was the tiniest beauty blender ever. I've never owned a real "beauty blender" so I guess this is exciting. I'll probably end up using it for undereye concealing. 

Clinique HIM Dual-Ended High Impact Mascara & Primer Duo

"Two-sided lash primer and mascara for longer lasting eye looks and full, soft, lustrous lashes."

I honestly feel like a primer for mascara is a bit extra. I just hope it doesn't weigh down my eyelashes.

Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick in Beige

"Highly pigmented foundation with the coverage of a concealer, smoothness of a liquid, and weightlessness of a powder."

I'm excited to try out this product. The shade seems like it matches me so that's good. The sample is very small though, it probably has like two or three uses which makes me sad. 

Lancer The Method: Polish

"Effective skin-resurfacing treatment uses natural plant enzymes and microdermabrasion crystals to reveal radiant skin."

I'm not too excited to use this product. I'm not that into skin care. It's a treatment for radiant skin, cool. It may or may not work because you need to use "The Method: Cleanse" after using this product so we'll see the results...

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

"Powered by a new, patented molecule, this effective dry shampoo absorbs excess oil and makes hair look and feel refreshed."

I'm the most excited for this product!!!! I've been trying to wash my hair less frequently so my natural oils can help it grow so a dry shampoo would be a great help. The can is pretty big for a sample size so I hope it has a lot of product in it.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue

"This fresh citrusy scent channels the sunshine-filled Mediterranean Sea with notes of bluebell, white rose, and amber."

Last but not least, the free perfume sample!!!!! To be honest, I used last month's sample only once. So I doubt I'll use this one a lot. It smells very fancy. It smells too fancy for me. 

My Play! by Sephora box was okay this month. I'm going to use all the products to try them out but I doubt they'll be my go to products. I feel like the dry shampoo will be my most used product.
